Voices from the pastGoing crazy with insanity
Simpleness too good to last
Now with all my other problems
Come the voices of my past
What is so special about me
to make these voices come home
To tell me that without me
they'd rather be alone
These voices are now behind me
though to the past they cling
These voices here to try me
Complications unknown to bring
A new voice says he loves me
Old ones say they do still
Both hard to even believe
but chose just one I will
My life was once so simple
Contentment would always last
Then all at once it disappeared
